5 months doesn't seem such a long time to know people. It isn't and yet
connections have been made, bonds have been formulated, initially or
otherwise. I have met people from my previous company that I did not
know then and I could say I know more now. I have met absolute strangers
that I will part with as friends, colleagues, lunch-mates, fellow MODs,
music-enthusiasts, ex-Alloricans...all in 5 months. And I got to know
more about them in a single day of fun, music and a lot of laughs. Thank
you for the gift of friendship, of camaraderie, of knowledge,
leadership...to sum it up, for an experience and learning I know I
needed. 5 short months and a lifetime of experience. Thank you.
Because I am never good at beginnings, I write words that never make it from my mind to my mouth. They slither to hide under my tongue, like medicine I pretend to swallow, as I speak words that are mine but never came from me.

Storm Chasers
Despite the slightly rough seas, loved every moment of the "island
hopping" we went through yesterday. And to strangers I (shamelessly
admit due to my aloof character) have not spoken with, yet have
willingly placed my life in their very capable hands: Thank you for the
wonderful trip and safely getting us back on dry land. I know it might
seem to most people that it is their job to have done so, I am thankful
that they were definitely competent about it. So kudos to everyday
silent heroes like the man who navigated the craft and helped us in
getting on and off the boats.

Decisions Made
Despite the coming "end" and the worse case scenario coming to light, I would have made the same decision. Therefore I am where I want to be. I cherish the experience and in a way, the lessons learned.
For now, it seems I just might have time in my hands to pursue some things I have been neglecting. This just might induce me to move mountains LOL and in perspective; move myself.
