Here's another thing I have only tried out during Uni.
I mean, sure I see "puso" (Heart) when I was younger and in Tacloban City.
But I have only tried eating this packed rice concept during Uni.
I have to say that it was a novelty. My mother never let me try to eat rice via the wrapped sort, only ones cooked at home.
This is a very vivid reminder of a stage of my life that was more on exploration, discovery, friendship, strength, individuality and independence. A lot of lessons learned.
Now that I am working. I don't often have this. And I do prefer to cook rice at home than buying puso for dinner or lunch. Both for the fact that it's less costly as well as I like that I no longer burn water as Ian used to say. (Although I use a rice cooker)
(Yes Noks, I now know how to heat stuff HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)
