This would be one of those photos I take when I go on lunch break here at IT Park.
Often I get breakfast food. This is one of those days.
Maybe it's the egg that really draws me? HAHAHAHAHA probably.
Odd though. When I was younger I wasn't really prone to eating eggs. Not one of my favorites per se. It could be age that's a factor to consider.
Come to think of it, I definitely need to buy some groceries tomorrow. No eggs and the monsters need to be fed.
One of those days where I have to create my own opportunity to have a photo for the day.
I was too tired to go out, and I wasn't really on the mood to venture out of the room and preferred the company of my monster and my laptop.
So a bag of nips came in handy both for the project and the opportunity to just have a stress free day.
"You wanna see what happens in a bag of nips.
What goes on before they touch my lips
they make a rainbow (chocolate nips)
a choco rainbow (Chocolate nips)
And then they color all the flowers and they paint the trees
They’re sweet and delicious, look at all those bees
When I want fun, I get a bag of Nips and make a rainbow
(Nips, Nips)"
At my age I am still a fan of window seats.
Be it in a car, bus or a plane, I like being able to see the scenery. Despite how many times I might have seen it. Window seat.
Took this photo on the flight back from Tacloban to Cebu.
I wasn't really looking forward to getting back to work and just want to extend my vacation for a few more days.
When I think about it, it has been quite a while since I've been on leave.
I think I'll plot a longer leave plan this time than my usual Friday leave.
Looking at the sentence above is a stark evidence I need a life. LOL
Now that I am in a non-BPO company, I seem to have lesser time to enjoy life.
Going home to the island isn't complete without visiting the house where I really grew up.
Having been raised by my grandmother and uncle in my "forming" years, I would say I have been blessed to have been raised in such a place; somewhere quiet, with a large area to play and explore and most of all, near 3 places: the ocean, the mountain and the swamp. When you're a kid, those 3 places are definitely awesome. As an adult, it doesn't change. I am grateful for having been raised in such a place.
I can't say that the nannies I had enjoyed it as much as I did. I often escaped somewhere they have no inclination to follow. And because of my tenacity to wander, I had my cousins or my uncle looking after me.
I'm hoping my father decides to work on the house and the surrounding area already rather than the land he bought here in Cebu. I find places in the island hold more meaning for me and that I hope would still be there when I decide to take a break from the world or something.
My sister and I decided to go home for the Holy Week despite only having to spend 2 days there (over the weekend) since I wasn't able to go on leave and join Steph and her family in Bantayan. Working for an account that has MEC metrics sucks.
And since we no longer live with our parents, our old room is being occupied by the current helper that helps out my parents with house work and cooking. Therefore, my sister and I ended up sleeping on the floor in our parents' room.
Makes me feel like I'm a kid again.
And of course the little monsters kept on jumping on our made up bed or hiding under my parents bed and glomping my sister and I when the opportunity presents itself. Little devils.
Here's a photo of Chobi hiding under the bed since he didn't want to sleep outside the room.
In the morning, I woke up to him being balled up behind my back.
